Audio-Visual Preservation and Access Strategy - job posting - December 14.2015
The ASA is pleased to announce that we have had a successful application for the Documentary Heritage Communities Program through Library and Archives Canada. The project is an Audiovisual Preservation and Access Strategy which involves hiring an Audiovisual Preservation Specialist to assess the needs of our members’ audiovisual holdings as well as to research what technical skills and equipment is available in the province. If you are a full institutional member of the ASA, you should be hearing from us regarding this project in the new year. We hope that the project will alleviate your audiovisual concerns and strengthen audiovisual preservation and access in the province.
Since we have received this funding, we are hiring an Audio-Visual Preservation Specialist. Please see the job posting here.
